Statistical study of the standard of living of the Russian population

The main indicators reflecting the standard of living of the population were studied, an increase in life expectancy and the amount of monetary income of the population in Russia was revealed. A nominal increase in income level has been recorded, but the inflation rate remains quite high. As a result of timely government support measures, a gradual decrease in the unemployment rate was noted, measures to reduce it were identified, and the structure of occupations of small and medium-sized enterprises was analyzed. An analysis of the main aspects of food security, food supply and food independence for basic food products was carried out. The conditions under which modern work is organized to prevent a decline in the standard of living of the population are considered: foreign economic sanctions, pandemic, lockdown, etc. Conclusions are formulated about the stable improvement in the standard of living of the population, the achievement of food security indicators and a low level of food inflation.
