Art. 172.2 of the Criminal Code of Russian Federation: problems of criminal law assessment and enforcement

Purpose: To reflect the problems expressed in relation to this article by theorists and practitioners of jurisprudence, to give them an assessment. Methodology: Historical-legal and formal legal methods were used. Results: The shortcomings of the article mentioned by experts exist and are not corrected. Judicial practice under Art. 172.2 of the criminal code is not fully established. It is necessary to amend the criminal law or the publication of explanations on judicial practice by the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation. Novelty/originality/value: This article has scientific significance, as it is one of the new scientific interpretations of article 172.2 of the criminal code of Russian Federation.
