The urgency of investigation in order to determine the level of the influence of the distortion, which is introduced by a power consumer, on the power quality connected to common feeder bay point is substantiated. The scheme of a stand for such researches allowing to distort power quality in a certain point of electrical network and evaluate the spread of the distortion depending on level, the type of distortion, the length of a power line and other factors
