The article is an analysis of the microcycle «Magdalene» that is included in «Poems of Doctor Zhivago» as a poetic epilogue to «Doctor Zhivago». The figure of Magdalene is viewed in the context of the whole novel. Special attention is paid to the subject organization of a lyrical utterance that shows complementarity of the analized pair and the novel.
