The art nouveau style in architecture of Saratov: ceramics in the works of P. M. Zybin

The article is devoted to the analysis of ways of using ceramic decorations in the exteriors of buildings of the Art Nouveau period on the example of the work of architect P.M. Zybin in Saratov. In this paper, the author analyzes the ceramic decorations of the early, mature and late Modern periods, followed by the classification of majolica of the last two periods by location on the facade, by subject matter, by size. In addition, the author gives a more detailed classification of the size of ceramic decorations of the exterior of Zybin buildings, highlighting six main groups.
