Stylistic stratification of the English afroethnosublanguage lexical system

The article presents the results of the analysis of stylistic features of English afroetnosociolectisms and the instruments of their registration in E.Partridge's «A dictionary of slang and unconventional English». The suggested stylistic stratification of the English lexical ethnosubstandard makes it possible to consider it in terms of colloquialisms (literary and low), slangisms (professional, corporate, marginal deviant and others), cantisms, pidginisms as well as afroethnosociolectisms of various language areas. Special attention is paid to sociolexicographic instruments to disclosure the social and stylistic mobility of English substandard elements of the sociolect system of afroetnosublanguage, i.e. the elevation of afroetnosocialectisms in the direction from cant to slang, from slang to colloquialisms and further on to Standard English and other directions.
