Stylistic features of early Chinese painting

The article deals with the art of China in the 2nd millennium BC - 3rd century AD. The author outlines the main ways of development of Chinese culture in general and its reflection in hieroglyphic writing and visual arts. The main prerequisites for the formation of the thematic orientation of silk paintings, paintings from burials, works of the early Zhou period, as well as the development of philosophical themes in these works are studied. The study analyzes the relationship of historical, economic and cultural factors with the formation of the main characteristic features of the visual monumental art and architecture. The sphere of interests of the artists and the thematic focus of the works, as well as the color structure of the works are revealed
