The article is devoted to the issue of stimulating the work of personnel in metallurgical production. The transformation of the labor sphere entails the need to increase the attention of the management of industrial enterprises to stimulating the work of personnel. In order to preserve the confidentiality of information, the company name has been changed. The theoretical and methodological basis for the study of the incentive system for personnel of a metallurgical enterprise is the work of domestic and foreign specialists in the field of incentives and labor productivity. The methodological and information base was legislative and regulatory acts, statistical and reporting data of the enterprise for 2017-2020. To analyze the incentive system for personnel in the metallurgical industry, the method of “photography” was used, which consists of a number of stages, including a survey of personnel. During the analysis of the labor incentive system, data were obtained, on the basis of which it was concluded that the degree of sufficient incentives for staff to achieve positive results. Based on the results of the analysis, measures were developed to improve the existing system of stimulating the work of personnel of the metallurgical enterprise, which led to the achievement of a socio-economic effect due to increased labor productivity. The article will be useful for researchers and practitioners working on improving the efficiency of production personnel in modern conditions.
