Stochastic model of gaseous oxidation of metals

A method of theoretical description of corrosive gaseous oxidation of metals is offered, based on the us-age of the stochastic cellular automaton method. Basic principles of the building of a probabilistic model are described. Main capabilities of the method for the definition of the integral process parameters are demonstrated.
