Insurance as an instrument of protecting interests of medical organizations from risks of professional liability

The article examines the experience of using insurance instruments to protect Russian medical organizations from the risks of professional liability. The main barriers to the widespread introduction of professional medical liability insurance are identified. One of the alternative methods of insurance protection is the insurance of liability of medical workers to employers in case offiling regress claims.
