Insurance as a method of risk management of the holding of JSC Russian Railways

The article addresses the issue of managing the risks of the Russian Railways holding company that affect financial performance. Insurance is considered as one of the risk management methods in the practice of domestic railway transport. The role of financial and non-financial risks arising in the process of the holding its core business is indicated. The growing role of risk management as an instrument for maintaining the economic security of railway transport is shown.
