Strategic directions of legal impact in the context of implementation of the concept of sustainable development of modern society

Introduction: the article is devoted to the disclosure of the current directions for the implementation of the legal policy of the Russian Federation, taking into account the strategic priorities, goals and objectives identified by the international community to ensure the progressive sustainable development of society in view of the emergence of new threats and challenges in the context of globalization. Within the framework of modern legal policy, a significant role is given to the prevention of delinquent behavior, the development of legal culture and the neutralization of the factors that determine legal nihilism, by improving the methods and means of legal influence, increasing the role of the socio-cultural and information-value functions of law. Materials and methods: the identification of key areas for the implementation at the national level of legal policy to improve the forms and means of legal influence is based on the study of the provisions identified by the international community in the Concept of sustainable development of society for the period up to 2030, the legal doctrine and materials of official statistics, based on the use sets of general scientific, private scientific and special methods, including formal legal, comparative legal, cybernetic and other methods of legal knowledge. The results of the study: identified the social and negative consequences of globalization at the domestic and international levels, associated with the emergence of new threats; the role of the state, law enforcement agencies, non-governmental institutions and civil society institutions in improving the quality of the regulatory and protective, compensatory and restorative, sociocultural, information-oriented direction of legal influence on public relations in order to ensure the security of man, society and the state is determined. Findings and conclusions: Conclusions and conclusion: in order to achieve at the national level the goals and objectives outlined by the world community in the Concept of sustainable development of society in the context of improving measures of legal influence, it is necessary to consolidate the administrative and other resources of the subjects of implementation of both legal and general social functions of law, contributing to the implementation of systematic, consistent and coordinated legislative and organizational and practical measures aimed at improving the efficiency of law-making and law enforcement activities by introducing a “leading method” into the mechanism of legal regulation in the field of economic, social and political and legal development of a person, society and the state.
