Strategic areas of information society development in the context of national security of Russia

The article deals with the features of information society development. The author considers the role of electronic government in building relationships between authorities and society in the Republic of Dagestan. Special attention is paid to the development of effective information state policy in the conditions of informational warfare. Some extremist web resources are also reviewed.
