Strategic planning for the development of the tourism industry

The relevance of the work is due to the increasing importance of the tourism industry in the formation of the country’s economic potential, the expansion of measures to support and financially stimulate the industry. After the recession during the pandemic, the indicators of the tourism industry have a positive trend, including through the development of development strategies and the expansion of forms of state support for the tourism sector and related industries, the development of a structural diversity of tourist products. In the context of the Sustainable Development Goals in European countries, the model of sustainable tourism is a priority. The formation of a tourism ecosystem based on the principles of sustainability is associated with an integrated cross-sectoral approach to strategic planning and management, the choice of effective measures of state financial incentives. Digital technologies open up new opportunities for data collection and processing to improve the quality of tourism services and make managerial and regulatory decisions.
