Recognizing professionally planned strategic personnel management as one of the most important conditions of effective work of any organization, the author of the article analyzes the facts available to him and formulates reasoned arguments in favor of the generally accepted opinion of specialists about the dependence of labor productivity on the quality of labor management. The publication characterizes such a concept as "strategic personnel management", defines its methods and means. The article substantiates the necessity of creating a quality management system at any enterprise, the administration of which is concerned about the competitiveness of its product and further effective development of production.
