The article discusses the problem of accelerating the transition of airport activities to innovative technologies in the digital economy. An overview of the best foreign and domestic practice in the acceleration of innovative technologies in the field of airport business is given. Priority areas of technological re-equipment of domestic airports have been identified, which ensure an increase in the quality of services provided in accordance with international standards. The expediency of using econometric models for forecasting passenger traffic as an effective tool for managing airport services has been substantiated. The results of the analysis of the current situation in the field of digitalization of the airport business during the global economic crisis are also reflected. The data on the distribution of the structure of non-aviation revenues of the airport are presented, an overview of global trends in the development of the digital economy of non-aviation business in the context of the crisis and methods for assessing this direction of business activities of the airport from the standpoint of the ecosystem approach at the leading airports of the Russia is given.
