In this paper we investigated the strategy of forming the image of a political leader and analyzed the strategy development process. By strategies of image formation of a political leader are selling a political product, the improvement of the political product and the satisfaction of the political market’s needs. Development strategy of forming a political leader’s image - a complex and multi-step process involving the following steps: definition of the segment audience, the definition of the purposes and objectives of the election campaign, the search for channels of communication, the creation of information messages and the adjustment of the image.
