This paper is devoted to the study of the principles of a homeless person’s image creation in modern mass media texts for the purpose of the analysis of communication strategies, tactics and techniques of description of a homeless person. The objects of the study are the issues of the 200 publications of websites (www.rg.ru, www.gazeta.spb.ru, www.ural.aif.ru, www.fontanka.ru) and newspapers («Russian newspaper», «Izvestia», «Arguments and facts») in 2013 and 2014.
