Strategies of research discourse: an integral approach

The article focuses on the problem of research discourse strategies within the framework of the integral approach. The notions of the integral approach in linguistics, research discourse, its structure, and principal constituents are investigated, with a special emphasis on discourse strategies. An integral model of research discourse strategies with respect to cognitive, social, cultural, communicative and language aspects of discourse is presented. Perspectives of further research are outlined.
