Ensuring safe labor conditions in our country is a national task. Its solution is associated with the introduction of safe technology, comprehensive mechanization and automation of production processes. With the growth of electricity supply and the expansion of the areas of electric energy use, the problems of ensuring electrical safety are of particular importance in the general system of measures for labor protection. Taking into account the entire set of industrial accidents in the Russian Federation the share of electrical injuries is 11,8%, that is, every tenth injury is related to electric current. In agriculture, 2500 people die from electric current every year. A distinctive feature of the operation of agricultural electrical equipment is the presence of a large number of harmful and dangerous factors that affect both humans and electrical facilities directly. It is obvious that the issues of electrical safety in the agricultural sector are very important and need a comprehensive solution. Measures to ensure electrical safety are carried out by engineers and technicians of the electrical equipment maintenance service of agricultural enterprises. All electrical work is a hazardous type of work and needs to be continuously monitored for compliance with safety measures. Consequently, the main responsibilities for ensuring safety in the electrical sector are assigned to the maintenance service, which is guided by regulatory documents. But the main task of the service for the operation of electrical equipment for supervision of safety is to develop a common control strategy, to determine the flow charts of the impact of supervision. The proposed flow chart for monitoring the safety of electrical equipment of agricultural enterprises by the maintenance service will allow to systematize the process of monitoring the safety of electrical equipment and make it more efficient. Thus, the control of electrical safety at an agro-industrial complex enterprise by the maintenance service is a complex and multi-stage process that requires a high level of organization, technical and engineering training, compliance with labor and production discipline by all participants in the labor process, and that is only in this case an acceptable level of safety in the electric power industry can be achieved.
