Population growth strategy as a program basis for preserving Russia

In the modern world of the rapidly spreading technologies, the population of the country is of crucial importance in the global competition. After the destruction of the USSR, Russia lags behind in this competition. Because of small population size in relation to the territory, the sovereignty and security of the country are under the threat. The only right strategic decision is to increase the number of indigenous people of Russia through the effective support of birth rate. The most efficient way is housing assistance to large families by granting an apartment or a house or by means of housing subsidies. Current measures taken to increase the birth rate bring forward the birth of the second child rather than stimulate it. Based on statistical evidence, the author proves that modern Russia has the necessary resources to grant housing to all large families in need. The effective use of these resources will lead to a significant increase in the population of the Russian Federation.
