Strategy of socio-economic development (on the example of Krasnodar krai)

In recent years, the Russian Federation has significantly increased the attention of the state to issues of regional development, including in the context of socio-economic development. In order to increase the level of socio-economic indicators, development strategies are being developed, the regulatory framework of regional policies is being restructured, various mechanisms for stimulating financial flows of regions are being developed and implemented, the efficiency of inter-budgetary relations is increasing, etc. The development and implementation of the above strategies helps to strengthen the competitiveness of regions, has a beneficial effect on economic security and improves to a large extent depends on what tools, methods and mechanisms of regional governance are used. The development of any region is a vast and multidimensional process. This process must be considered systematically, examining economic and social indicators, which are important components of the social development of economic entities. In this article, as an example, the development strategy of the Krasnodar Territory, the southernmost region of the country, is considered. The authors of the article demonstrate that the presented strategy for the coming years contains a global potential for improving the region with unique natural and climatic conditions, as a year-round sanatorium-resort and tourist complex, and a highly developed agro-industrial complex, using the achievements of scientific and technological progress and the overall protection of nature.
