This article is devoted to the problems of Upper Paleolithic's early stage chronology of Western Transbaikalian. By the example of three big archeological sites, situated near Hengerecte Mountain, it is shown the forming of Lithic industry with expressed Upper Paleolithic elements. According to the chronological data this process passed at the period between 75 000-40 000 years ago. After 40 000 BP the share of upper Paleolithic elements in the archeological assemblages reduces intensively, but the share of middle Paleolithic elements increases. The change of archeological cultures happens. This process hasn't general character: for example, Transbaikalian Tolbaginskaya culture, which is applied to early Upper Paleolithic, goes on to develop after the cultures' change at the sites of Hengerecte.
