The factors of the versatility of the complex work of an employee of the national police of the Republic of Ecuador and the saturation of the subject area of police law enforcement with complex and sometimes non-standard introductory various situations characterized by a special manifestation of the emotional component in relation to the personality determine the expediency of appealing to the relevant topic of the typology of stressors, in terms of their impact on the professional activity of a police officer. Identifying the destructive influence of the set of noted stressors and offering his vision of this typology, the author concludes that it is necessary for each police officer to develop self-regulation skills of his personality, based, among other things, on modeling various situations through the use of virtual reality.
