The value structure of families residing in the Primorsky krai

The article deals with the values of families in the context of transformational processes occurring in the modern Russian society. Family is considered as an environment, where personal values are developed and then transformed, and professional status values are formed along with the family ones. The research results have shown that the family remains one of the most important life values. The study has found that in the value structure of families living in the Primorsky region, the family values are dominating, while the values of professional employment take the subordinate position.
