The structure and problems of functioning of the state financial control system in the Russian Federation at the federal and regional levels

The purpose of this article is to examine the system of state financial control, the principles on which it is based, the methods and structures of bodies performing control functions, both at the federal and regional levels. The paper presents the advantages and disadvantages of the work of financial control bodies at the moment, analyzes the work of regulatory structures using the example of several regions of the Russian Federation, and makes proposals to improve the activities of bodies that make up the system of state financial control.
