Structure of intellectual potential of enterprises: analysis of existing approaches and current innovations

Modern practice of organizing the production activities of an increasing number of enterprises indicates that one of the determining factors of their successful functioning and development in market conditions is the presence of intellectual potential. At present, this concept does not have a universally recognized unambiguous definition, which is confirmed by a significant number of scientific papers of different scientists-economists, in which they use different terminology to define the concept of intellectual potential of an enterprise. The analysis of the most famous of them is given in this paper. This circumstance determined the need to clarify the definition of the concept under study and the relevance of the research topic. The main methods used in the study were complex analysis, generalization and systematization of the applied approaches, justification of the necessary structural components and the relationship between them. The main result of the study is to clarify the definition of the concept of intellectual potential of the enterprise, as well as the justification of its structure in relation to modern conditions of industrial activity. In addition, the article substantiates the need to include new components in the structure of the intellectual potential of the enterprise, which can be considered as modern innovations in the analysis of the concept under study.
