The structure of the ministry of finance of the Russian empire in the first half of the XIX century: legal ratification

This paper deals with the powers of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Empire. The structure of the Ministry of Finance in the first half of the XIX century is reviewed. It is concluded that the Ministry of Finance was among the most important ministries of the Russian Empire and occupied the central place in shaping the structure of executive power. In this regard, its activity was regulated in sufficient detail by the legislation in force.
