The soil formation geographical peculiarities and mountain forest soil cover specificity of Khenteisk plateau within Mongolia are considered. The conducted middle-scaled cartographical research made it possible to reveal the soil cover basic types and to demonstrate the real soil cover structure that is expressed in complexes, combinations and mosaics within the studied belts.
