Employment structure by economic activity types

A qualitative assessment of some structural shifts within the period 1975−2011 is treated in the article by A.V. Kashepov “Employment structure by economic activity types”. Based on a shift quality index offered by the author, some changes in the population employment structure within the above period are considered. The author comes to the conclusions that the most dynamic qualitative structural changes refer to 1975−1980; the shifts occurred in the 2000s before the crisis 2008−2009 are also of a relatively adequate quality. The crisis periods demonstrate negative values of the above shift quality index.
