In recent years, great importance is attached to the study of the pathogenesis of multiple sclerosis. It was found that the implementation of a component of an autoimmune disease mechanisms play a role destabilization of cell membrane associated with the activation of lipid peroxidation (LPO) and antioxidant defense system depression. In this work, the analysis of biochemical parameters, important in the pathogenesis of multiple sclerosis (activity of phospholipase а2, the content of LPO products, the activity of antioxidant enzymes and lipid phase structure of cell membranes), depending on the stage of the pathological process.
Multiple sclerosis, lipid peroxidation, oxidative stress
