Structural and semantic types of contaminated words in English

The article is devoted to an all-embracing characterization of contaminated words of modern English. On the basis of different hallmarks there have been singled out certain structural types as well as oppositions and groups of contaminated words which vary thematically, etymologically, according to the presence or absence of stylistic markedness and others.
