The paper considers the development of mobile energy systems for the power supply of autonomous consumers of electricity, remote from the external power grid. It presents the analysis of structural solutions of autonomous power supply systems powered by renewable energy sources, and discloses the features of their operation. It also highlights a block diagram of a mobile power system based on renewable and traditional energy sources, providing uninterrupted power supply to DC and AC consumers and an algorithm for the operation of an automatic control system for a mobile power plant in all modes of its operation. The paper proposes the directions of improving the operational and technical characteristics of the mobile power system and its original structural solution made on an electric power converter. It discloses the advantages and disadvantages of mobile power systems made on electric machine converters. The results of the completed research will increase the efficiency of the preliminary work on the development of energy-efficient mobile energy systems powered by renewable energy sources.
