Structural and temporal pattern change intestinal epithelium in the ileal neobladder

The study presents the results of morpho-functional state of the urinary reservoirs mucosa made from ileum. The study included biopsies from 38 patients of both sexes in terms of 4-months to 29 years after the reconstructive surgery. Successfully applied histological, histochemical, immunogistohimical, morphometric, electron microscopic studies are performed. Found that in the mucosa are expressed heterochronous structural and functional changes at the level of structural and functional units of cell-type level, the ultrastructural organization of enterocytes and in their synthetic activity. They are implemented in a three-phase process: the phase of «emergency adaptation", takes up to 2 years; phase «plateau» - up to 5-7 years; phase of «collapse» - after 7 years and ends with dysplasia of the intestinal epithelium.
