The student union in the system of political control of the Soviet students

The article considers the competition among youth public organizations for representation of interests of students in the system of political management of Soviet society. The author analyzes the typology of organizations that claim to represent the interests of the Soviet students, tracing its evolution from the emergence to the disappearance or final incorporation in the system of political control of the Soviet state. Various theoretical approaches on the possibility of the existence of trade union organizations in the student environment are considered.
