Student self-governance as a factor of improving the patriotism level of students of vocational educational organizations

The article highlights the issues of development of student self-government in the aspect of ideas about the role of student public associations in the patriotic education of students. The principles of the organization and activity of student self-government in a modern professional educational organization are named. The experience of organizing the interaction of student self-government with local governments and public organizations is presented as an opportunity to combine the interests of personal development and self-realization with the interests of the state in the development of a conscious civil society and the training of professional personnel.
