Students majored at the school of chemistry of the Soviet-time university

The paper considered the course of shaping (conduct specific for) the Soviet students and students majored in chemistry as their integral part, in the period from the 1920-ies to 1980-ies. The study considered the policy made by the State in arranging admission of students to the Universities. Human resources for upgrading students majored in chemistry have been shown, as well as their quantity numbers by universities. The paper discovered specifics of learning and upbringing progress at the departments of chemistry of the Soviet universities, and students’ participation in academic research work. The survey presented a general description of operation of chemistry’ departments in training foreign students.
