Students of the Prikamye: status, values, behavior

The paper is devoted to the sociological analysis of status, values and behavioral characteristics of the student segment of Russian society in their specific regional manifestations, identifies the dominant factors of social life, the indirect impact of social change on this stratum, which is considered not only as a substrate of youth segment, but also as a potential actor of the innovative development society. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the impact of paternalistic syndrome as one of the dominant characteristics of Russian society to their integration into innovative processes and technologies. The information base of this article is a research of the students conducted by the laboratory of sociology, PNIPU (1998-2014) with an active participation of the authors.
