The article touches upon the issue of deontic constructs of Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, Jeremy Bentham and Ernst Mally. Special attention is given here to the presence of norms subject in them. It is known, that von Wright divided prehistory of deontic logic into two traditions: the branch of Leibniz and the branch of Bentham and Mally. It is assumed that Bentham and Mally were the very first who had raised the topic of the agent-dependent normativity in the deontic logic. However, during the analyses the author comes to the conclusion that it was Leibniz who raised this topic in his studies on the juridical modalities.
