Subjective assessment of somatic health and coping behaviour of workers of extreme professions

This article presents the results of an empirical study of stress coping behavior and subjective assessment of the somatic health of workers emergency situations ministry and paramedics of emergency medical services. Peculiarities of stress-overcoming behavior were identified depending on the profile of extreme activities. Мedical orderly tend to resort to emotionally-oriented copings more often. The specificity of the complaints on the health of firefighters and paramedics has been determined. Established links between coping strategy and intensity of subjective ailments.
