Subjects of ensuring the anti-corruption process in Russia

The current Russian anti-corruption legislation generally provides a legal basis for various individuals to carry out anti-corruption activities. It involves state authorities at all levels, local governments, civil society institutions, and some other categories of entities. However, the analysis of anti-corruption legislation and its comparison with other Federal laws reveals significant conflicts, gaps and contradictions that require further improvement of anti-corruption legislation and legislation on the prevention of offenses, in view of creating a threat of abuse of power by the competent authorities and their officials.
