Sub-national diplomacy of the Krasnodar region: organizational and legal aspects and establishment of the international relations with the Italian Republic

The article deals with the organizational and legal aspects of formation and development of the international and foreign economic relations of the Krasnodar region at the turn of the XXI century. After surviving the recession, the collapse of the agriculture and the fall of the general welfare of the population in 1990-s, the authorities of the Krasnodar region begun to create favorable conditions for investment, establish economic and other relations with foreign partners, among which the Italian Republic was one of the first.
