Jury in Russia: reforming prospects

Purpose: Consideration of topical issues of reforming of a jury in Russia. Methodology: The author applied a historical and legal method, statistical methods, a formal legal method, a method of the included supervision. Results: In article «The prospects of reforming of a jury in the Russian Federation» designated on a round table, carried out on February 19, 2015 by the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation together with the Russian state university of justice, problems of expansion of application of institute of jurors are critically analyzed. Novelty/originality/value: Work is of the high scientific value as is attempt of the modern analysis of views of reforming of a jury in Russia.
