Destiny and exceptional talent: to the anniversary of doctor of historical sciences Palikova Tatyana Vadimovna

The article presents the historiographic and bibliographic analysis of the career of Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Tatyana Vadimovna Palikova. Being a recognized specialist in the field of historical urban studies, T. V. Palikova achieved such a high scientific status through systematical research of various socio-cultural aspects of urban studies for many years. She is an author of several monographs, more than a hundred articles and study guide. Thanks to her efforts historical urban studies are developing at Dorzhi Banzarov Buryat State University.
