Adocumentary description of the Bashkir rebellion from 1735 to 1740 in the Southern Trans-Urals is stored in Russian State Archive of Ancient Acts (RGADA) and begins with a history of the wagon of food which was sent from the Techa settlement toward Verkhnejaitsk landing stage in July 1735. A brief history of this description is as follows. At the request of the Russian Academy of Sciences, made in the 40s of the 18th century, a chronological description of the events from 1735 to 1741 was composed on the basis of reports and promemory in the Siberian garrison Dragoons regimental office. In this case it will be called Miller documents as the requester was Professor Miller. The description of military events taking place in the Southern Trans-Urals is valuable because it has a chronology by years as well as by dates. Special attention should be given to these historical calendar dates. A verified chronology of events is very important for understanding the actions committed not only by the head of the Orenburg expedition Ivan Kirilov but also by his assistant Colonel Tevkelev. According to these dates the period of purely defensive operations of Siberian dragoons regiment against the Bashkir troops is determined from May 1735 to March 1736.
