The article summarizes the domestic punitive policy and practice in criminal cases involving the receipt of a bribe. Analyzed are the debatable issues of appointing to officials of the main and additional types of punishment, probation, exemption of the guilty from criminal responsibility. The author concludes that the existing judicial practice is liberal and makes suggestions for the prevention of such crimes.
