Suicidal depression of women in art and science. Part III: the burden of character

Based on works of art, the features of "literary" and / or "female" suicides are identified in a broad cultural-historical and philosophical context from the standpoint of genre and narratology. The qualitative analysis is based on cultural-historical, comparative, biographical, typological methods, and the method of literary hermeneutics. The article reveals the image of death in the representation of femininity and reflection in the system of relations "life - death" (thanatological image) with clarification of the aesthetic relationship of art and reality
