Suicidal attempts of children and adolescents in Irkutsk

The prevalence of suicide attempts among children and adolescents of Irkutsk in the period between 2006 and 2009 is reviewed. The prevalence of attempted suicide versus socio-demographic variables such as gender, age and social status is examined and oft-occurring methods of parasuicides are described.
