Suicidological screening: the problem related to the use of psychometric scales

The article is devoted to one of the most common and at the same time most controversial methods of suicidological screening - the psychometric. The article discusses the literature and our own data, based on the diagnostics of 312 students using a questionnaire and projective test. The authors didn’t find any correlation between the diagnostics results using scales of different types, which raises the question of their reliability and validity and requires further studies directed to improve the suicidological screening.
