Sulphide-selenide mineralization in volcanogenic-sedimentary rocks of the Shatak complex (Bashkirian meganticlinorium)

The aim of the work was a detailed study of sulfide-selenide mineralization found in volcanic-sedimentary deposits of the Shatak complex (Bashkir meganticlinorium). A study of minerals was carried out on the REMM-202M with EDA at the Institute of Mineralogy of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Miass) and the scanning electron microscope CamScan-4 with the analyzing attachment LINK OXFORD (VNIIHT, Moscow). Determination of Se, Cu, Fe, Pb, As is carried out by mass spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma in the VSEGEI Institute. Based on the content of Se, Cu, Fe, Pb, As in the rocks of the complex, a conclusion is made about metamorphogenic-hydrothermal formation of this type of mineralization. At the same time, it is stated that the question of the mechanisms of crystallization in local volumes of the extreme members of isomorphous series of selenides and sulfides (CuFeS2-CuFe3Se4(?), PbS-PbSe) remains open.
